At least with 7.0-CURRENT the adapter works just fine on sparc64 as expected (tested using the comms/minicom port). I haven't checked with RELENG_6, yet, but currently there are at least no driver specific differences in ucom(4) or uplcom(4) between RELENG_6 and HEAD. ucom0: <Prolific Technology Inc.
