I have 1542's that have run for years in really crappy boxes without ever giving a hint of trouble. I have one now in an antique 486 that's driving a disk, a tape and a cd just fine, and it has been in various machines in different cities under various multi-tasking/multi-user Unix OS's (though not FreeBSD). They may be old and slow in today's world, but they work just fine. -- Greg Black -- <gjb@acm.org> To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
