But I am aware of this ;) What I meant is, that the newest release of whatthepatch needs at least version 65.0.0 of setuptools: https://github.com/cscorley/whatthepatch/blob/91480c9e0fe87750dec33bdb37d5f2e3722e421f/pyproject.toml#L34 That's why I asked if there are plans to update setuptools to this version.
