I've been playing around with vnc for a few days now. Other than the
fact that I can't get the -localhost option to work so far, I am quite
impressed with it. Make sure to read the docs that get installed into
/usr/X11R6/share/doc/vnc by the port. It's a little dense to start with,
but once you get a grip on it, it's not too bad. I've not used the gnome
viewer, so far I've managed to resist the temptation to gnom-ify.
