I'm running FreeBSD 4.2 on Fujitsu laptop and I have D-Link DFE-650 PCMCIA NIC. As far as I understood it's NE2000 compatible so I added a line to my kernel: device ed When I boot I get this: pcic-pci0: irq 9 at device 15.0 on pci0 pcic-pci1: irq 9 at device 15.1 on pci0 ...skipping... pcic0: at port 0x3e0 iomem 0xd4000 irq 11 drq 0 on isa0 pcic0: management irq 11 ...skipping... pccard0: on pcic0 pccard1: on pcic0 Then I tried this: # pccardc enabler 1 ed0 -m 2000 d8000 16 -a 240 -i 10 And I got this: ed0 at port 0x240-0x25f iomem 0xd8000-0xdbfff irq 10 slot 1 on pccard1 ed0: address 00:50:ba:73:9f:04, type Linksys (16 bit) And when I try to bring this interface up I get this: /kernel: ed0: device timeout So I don't know what to do else...
