Do I have the URL for you! make - and how to use it behind a firewall http://www.freebsddiary.org/freebsd/make.htm Basically, you modify /etc/make.conf to include the following: FTP_PASSIVE_MODE=YES FETCH_BEFORE_ARGS=-p If I recall correctly, there was a bug which required both of the above to be specified. If it's been fixed, only the first line above should be needed. -- Dan Langille - DVL Software Limited The FreeBSD Diary - http://www.FreeBSDDiary.org/freebsd/ NZ FreeBSD User Group - http://www.nzfug.nz.freebsd.org/ The Racing System - http://www.racingsystem.com/racingsystem.htm To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
