I have read the archives. From what I've read, it appears that: this problem is related to the use of the -o option with pkg_info; this only affected older systems (4.6, 4.7); and upgrading to 4.8-STABLE should solve the problem. I've been running 4.8-STABLE for months, and updated my -STABLE a few days ago.
