https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D284510 Bug ID: 284510 Summary: Kernel Panic when testing OpenCL with amdgpu discrete graphic Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: maulanahirzan@gmail.com Created attachment 257172 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D257172&action= =3Dedit dmesg output from boot to kernel panic I have a Thinkpad E480 with Radeon RX550 (Polaris 12) discrete graphic. So = far there is no problem with the integrated gpu (in this case is Intel UHD 620). Thus, I want to test the discrete GPU. I installed gpu-firmware-amd-kmod-polaris12 as the driver for my dgpu.=20 Everything is good until I do four things on my laptop:=20 1) Running clinfo command,=20 2) Closing Python's Interpreter after accessing OpenCL via pyopencl,=20 3) Running chromium for several minutes (this only occurred when amdgpu is loaded), and=20 4) Checking graphic information using KInfoCenter.=20 These four actions raised kernel panic and force rebooting my laptop. I have included the latest dmesg output with kernel panic information. I with I can upload my dump core here, but the filesize is 1GB. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
