Look for RAVEN per https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/amd/cores/raven_ridge
According to kms-drm repository earliest support appears in Linux 4.13
while drm-fbsd12.0-kmod is based on Linux 4.16 code.

Maybe check https://github.com/FreeBSDDesktop/kms-drm/issues?q=raven
for common quirks.

I don't use AMD GPUs, so can't help further.
