(In truth, I'm fiddling with 3.3 while - impatiently - waiting for 3.4 to arrive, but anyway...) I think something's wrong with the screen termcap - it just isn't using the the bottom line of the xterm for the info lines (e.g. C-a w). Instead the info appears at the current cursor position and does not disappear (it wasn't even inverse video). This is 'screen' as installed from the 3.3 CD. I've checked that /etc/termcap holds an entry for TERM=screen (it does) and that this is the latest screen (it is). Beyond that, termcap is almost rot13 to me. Any suggestions? Please e-mail and I'll summarise. -- "Gedge" = Geraint A Edwards = gedge@serf.org Caerdydd, Cymru = Cardiff, Wales : http://serf.org/gedge/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
