Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hi! I'm currently setting up my own IRC server and a webbased IRC leint (wiplash) but I have some troubles with the 'ident' part. I never installed an irc server before but this hybrid thingie works great but when a remote IRC client connects to the machine it takes about 4 minutes to 'pass' the 'ident' part. If you wait 4 mins the connection continues and you can chat... Does anybody have some information about this delay problem ?
