Therefore subsequent packages that require X fail to install, giving the error: 'required package XFree86-3.3.2 is not installed' The problem only relates to the registration of the package name. X is in fact installed correctly. >How-To-Repeat: Install XFree86-3.3.2 at the same time as a new install of 3.0-RELEASE >Fix: Work around 1: After installing 3.0-RELEASE + XFree86, add a dummy package with the name 'XFree86-3.3.2'. This allows subsequent X-related packages to be installed without problems.
