>Description:

When installing XFree86 as part of a new 3.0-RELEASE installation,
the package/port XFree86-3.3.2 is not registered. Therefore
subsequent packages that require X fail to install, giving the error:
'required package XFree86-3.3.2 is not installed'

The problem only relates to the registration of the package name. X is in
fact installed correctly.

>How-To-Repeat:

Install XFree86-3.3.2 at the same time as a new install of 3.0-RELEASE

>Fix:

Work around 1: After installing 3.0-RELEASE + XFree86, add a dummy package
with
the name 'XFree86-3.3.2'. This allows subsequent X-related packages to be
installed without problems.

Work around 2: Do not install X at the same time as 3.0-RELEASE, but
instead install it
from the ports collection.
