Please CC me on any replies. I'm not currently subscribed to freebsd-questions. TIA... I'm trying to install the jdk13 to make mozilla happy. By trial and error (trial and download? ;-) I've gotten to the point of the following error. I cannot find anything that gets me around this. Thanks for any assistance anybody can provide. Cheers... The messages and errors from my latest attempt: (transcription typos and all) make ===> Extracting for jdk-1.3.1p7_2 >> Checksum OK for j2sdk-1_3_1-src.tar.gz >> Checksum OK for bsd-jdk131-patches-7.tar.gz ===> jdk-1.3.1p7_2 depends on executable: gm4 - found ===> jdk-1.3.1p7_2 depends on executable: zip - found ===> jdk-1.3.1p7_2 depends on file: /usr/X11R6/lib/libxm.so - found ===> jdk-1.3.1p7_2 depends on file: /usr/local/linux-sun-jdk1.3.1/bin/javac - not found ===> Verifying install for /usr/local/linux-sun-jdk1.3.1/bin/javac in /usr/ports/java/linux-sun-jdk13 ===> Extracting for linux-sun-jdk-1.3.1.06_1 >> Checksum OK for j2sdk-1_3_1_06-linux-i586.bin. ===> linux-sun-jdk-1.3.1.06_1 depends on file: /compat/linux/lib/libc.so.6 - found ELF interpreter /compat/svr4/lib/ld-linux.so.2 not found abprt trap *** Error code 134 Stop in /usr/ports/java/linux-sun-jdk13. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/java/jdk13. It only showed up once and has not shown itself again. I do not know if it was important or not. Thanks again for any help you can provide. Cheers and Seasons Greetings...
