Hi. I have win2k box with 100mb card in it, and a Freebsd dual homed box with 100mb on local interface and 10mb on internet side. when transfering files from win2k to freebsd i get max 60kb/s throughput, and 3com 10/100 hub shows load of only 10%. what can be done to acchive a higher rate? thank you bsd: xl0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet 192.168.0.3 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.0.255 inet6 fe80::250:4ff:fee1:8d51%xl0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x1 ether 00:50:04:e1:8d:51 media: autoselect (100baseTX) status: active supported media: autoselect 100baseTX <full-duplex> 100baseTX 10baseT/UTP <full-duplex> 10baseT/UTP 100baseTX <hw-loopback> win2k: Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Macronix MX98715 Family Fast Ethernet Adapter (ACPI) PS hub shows that both are connected at 100mb To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
