This message is in MIME format --_=XFMail.1.3.p0.FreeBSD:990313123925:7076=_ Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii thanks for your replying. this brings me out of darkness and make me sure that i do not violate this list's charter. in the following matter, i do not mean to flame on anything else. and if i ask to the wrong list, please forgive me too. as far as i know, oaep.go.th is my office domain name. the machine that runs name server is center. center acts as a mailhup also, i have just notice this fact. when i look at named.boot and zone files, they are all in an attachment, this nameserver has just less than 100 RR from (256+256-2) available. and one of RR is prime IN A 202.44.64.1 in a forward file and ; Real Machines 4 IN PTR center.oaep.go.th. 1 IN PTR prime.oaep.go.th. in a reverse file. and so i select the RR of the dead machine for mine.): the uname -a of center is SunOS center 5.3 Generic_101318-75 sun4m sparc my question is that is there any way either to check that this nameserver is setup correctly (, since you say that you can not do a reverse lookup on prime.oaep.go. th) or this domain name is the right, not a fake one ? many thanks in advance for any informations.
