Slightly modify NFS to allow you to "export" a device. Since the NFS code already allows you to mount remote 'files' you're good to go. Congradulations you've got your NBD and you only spent 2 hours (if that) on it. Jesus people... If you've got this much free time, implement something that will actually be USEFUL over a wide variety of problem sets like SCSI over IP.
