Making this list moderated is one method (which I don't like too much, however). The other method is each individual's right to use mail filters - I for example didn't get to see more than three messages of this thread, because I simply decided to automatically redirect all others into the bit bucket. I just read your message (you changed the subject, that broke my filter), and, well, I think all in all the list is fine. Every now and then something that doesn't really belong here turns up, but I can live well with that. Actually, I wouldn't say that the topic I'm writing about right now is something that belongs on this list either, and therefore, after having said what I think this once, I will remain silent on this and focus on more valid threads instead. If everybody else would do the same, we'd push the signal-to-noise ration down quite a bit without much effort.
