I have used cdrecord to backup data, to burn my releases etc. Also, I=20 have recently installed (yet) another 4.0-S system from a CD I had=20 burnt with cdrecord. In particular, I succedeed in burning a couple of "impossible" CD-RW=20 via cdrecord, as I posted a few weeks ago. "Impossible" was the term=20 used by a Winblows guy who had been trying every possible Winblows=20 program to burn them=20 My hardware: bartequi /kernel: cd0: <YAMAHA CRW4416S 1.0f> Removable CD-ROM SCSI-2=20 device=20 bartequi /kernel: cd0: 8.333MB/s transfers (8.333MHz, offset 15) My software: cdrecord-1.8=20 N.B. The SCSI device I currently use is neither *expensive* nor=20 particularly *professional* albeit it IS a SCSI device.
