The "update-smart-drivedb " configuration option is turned off in the
smartmontools Makefile.
CONFIGURE_ARGS= --disable-dependency-tracking \
--enable-sample \
--with-gnupg=no \
--with-initscriptdir=${PREFIX}/etc/rc.d \
--with-nvme-devicescan=yes \
--with-update-smart-drivedb=no
What is the recommended method to update the drive database if this
option is off? Using FreeBSD 11.3-p7 amd64.
