X-Priority: 1 (Highest) Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I use FIPS to split my primary DOS partition (from 6.8 gig to 2.5 for win95/rest freeBSD), it doesnt show up in the freeBSD installer. It will show only 3partitions: the master boot, the original DOS partition (all 6.8 gigs, "unknown" type, not FAT), and a new, very small partition. The book Complete freeBSD says that there should be 2 DOS partitions, both being FAT. None of my partitions are FAT now. Is it something I am doing wrong? I am installing so that I may retain WIN95 (unfortunately). I have followed the steps in the book to the t, tried and re-tried everything, but to no avail. I would sincerely appreciate any help you could give me. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
