Yes, this is a bogus commit.  The makefiles are not used.  They are only 
there for reference.  The handbook suggests trimming stuff when there are
sizeable savings,  I didn't delete these as it made the remove list more 
complex and it was useful to refer to them while working on the
usr.sbin/named/Makefile etc counterparts.
