Nate, guys, in 6.1 we by default use LAPIC timer now and I wonder what can affect its frequency. The reason I am asking is that it seems that it starts to work slower if I use my nf2fsb cpufreq driver and change FSB (and thus CPU_ frequency. Some data: $ date ; sleep 300 ; date Fri 9 Jun 2006 19:16:41 EEST Fri 9 Jun 2006 19:22:55 EEST $ bc scale=5 300 / 374 .80213 133 / 166 .80120 I.e. it seems that LAPIC timer runs slower by the same factor that frequency is changed. Any recommendations ? ideas ? Thank you. -- Andriy Gapon
