This is a multipart message in MIME format. --=_alternative 000535F988256AB2_= Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Just to let you know, There are people within .gov who do promote Freebsd, and are just as tired of MS as everyone else. (Note my email address.) I would like to see some regulations that would require .govs to evaluate open source alternatives before commercial products. I'm afraid that this would have to come from the top down, and since the gov is a servant of the people, the people will have to lobby gov to initiate this kind of thing. Good luck. I am interested in developing a not for profit to lobby the governments to implement FreeBSD in lieu of the Microsoft Cabal. Is there any such organization, if not who may I contact to develop a connection with FreeBSD, Linux, and the open-source community? Walter J.
