Yes, I do have this line. But I still do not know how to change the font size.
The default one looks too small to me.

I changed all the "18" in that line to "28", but no effect at all.

You need a line like:

WindowFont -adobe-helvetica-bold-r-*-*-18-*-*-*-*-*-*-*,-*-fixed-medium-r-normal
-*-18-*-*-*-*-*-*-*,-*-gothic-medium-r-normal-*-18-*-*-*-*-*-*-*,-*-mincho-mediu
m-r-normal-*-18-*-*-*-*-*-*-*,-*-*-medium-r-normal-*-18-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

in your ~/.fvwm2rc file.
