That file should be identical to the copy on your test machine. Try
comparing the md5 checksums on the two machines:
md5 libc.so.3
Use ldd(1) against the fpexe executable on both machines to see what
shared objects it's loading (or trying to). My guess is that on the
test machine, fpexe loads /usr/lib/compat/libc.so.3 or
/usr/local/lib/compat/libc.so.3 but not on the server.
If the command:
ldconfig -r | grep libc.so.3
doesn't return any output, try:
ldconfig -m /usr/local/lib/compat
After that, recheck ldd(1) against fpexe --- everything should be
resolved correctly.
