My girlfriend (bless her heart) just bought me a Sony CDRom for my birthday. I was planning of bringing up FreeBSD on a new machine -- and my understanding is that only Mitsubishi (and SCSI) drives are supported. This drive came with a three-way panasonic/mitsubishi/sony interface card, of which I am using the Sony connector. Can I use this with FreeBSD, or is it back to the store with it for a trade-in...? -- ...................................................................... Peter G. Berger, Esq.
