On http://freebsd.dk/ata I see that previous models are supported, so can I assume that those 2 burners would work under FreeBSD as well? Is the BURN-Proff (PlexWriter) and Smart-BURN (LiteOn) something that works independantly of the OS, or is it something FreeBSD do/have to support? Both drives use variable speed during the burningprocess. How does burncd handle this?
