hear you, brother!
or as my little daughter put it; "it's not a computer, it's a PC"

you can hate Steven Moron Jobs, Jr. but engineers created a lot of
things everybody and his brother is still busy copycatting.
I have no quarrel with the thesis that Apple is dying, it's been an
Olympic event in the last 25 years: Apple DeathWatch.

Ten years ago I came to USA, started a business a year later bought a
Mac and FileMakerPro and to this day I don't want to know what resource
fork means. Good thing: you can hire a lot of smarties who do. they
even have a hair-cut before they come for an interview <G>... and they
think they got themselves a good cut after they are hired.

There used be talented repackagers in Cupertino, much more talented
than in F*land.

But... I stopped buying Apples since the Moron killed the cloners who
started to exhibit better engineering by that time. There was a lot of
talk about G4, but look at the pathetic chipset they put it in. Nearly
as crappy as x86.
