The XFree86 4.2 driver module
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/cirrus_alpine.o is producing megabytes of
gratuitus output like
minl(...)
moutl(...)
in /var/log/XFree86.0.log and filling /var rapidly. It would seem that that
particular driver is being built with DEBUG defined.
Note that this will affect the FreeBSD 4.6 release as it includes prebuilt
XFree86 4.2 code for installation.

Install FreeBSD with XFree86 4.2 into a system with a Cirrus Logic
GD544x chipset (or any other that uses the cirrus_alpine.o driver).
