I've checked the mailing list archives but haven't seen anyone report this problem. I made the linux-opera port yesterday. It runs faster and smaller than Netscape. I could even get over the very Windows-like look and feel and the cut/paste-ing not being carried over into the Emacs cut/paste buffer like it did in Netscape except for one thing: it crashes. Often. Has anyone encountered this before? Sometimes it will run for several hours before it crashes, sometimes only a few minutes. I've also seen it crash when it didn't have the focus. (ie. I wasn't actively using it.) Any ideas? I'm tired of how slow and bloated Netscape is (been running the linux 4.77 navigator) but I don't know of any alternative. If there is one other than Opera, please let me know. david ps. I had to unsubscribe from the mailing list due to the enormous num. of messages I was getting. I dunno how you guys do it but kudos to you. So, if you'd be so kind, reply to the email address above? Thanks in advance.
