The following reply was made to PR ports/170773; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Rolf Grossmann <rg@progtech.net> To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org, Dan Langille <dan@langille.org> Cc: Subject: Re: ports/170773: sysutils/bacula-server overlaps with sysutils/backula-client with pkgng Date: Tue, 13 Nov 2012 02:14:47 +0100 Hi, I'm running into the same issue after getting ready to use pkgng with the upcoming 9.1 release. I've looked at PR 167700 <http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=3Dports/167700> like you suggested and I can't find a proper patch and the full port replacements have so many changes, I can't tell what's what. On the other hand, the patch suggested here is simple, and I can confirm it works for getting the port compatible with pkgng. It also makes bacula-client required by bacula-server like you're saying. So I would appreciate if we could get this patch in right now to be able to use bacula with pkgng and sort out the other issues you're looking for whenever you find the time to work through them. Best regards, Rolf Grossmann.
