Also, be sure to configure the printer under lpr because usually samba will pipe stuff to lpr... at least that's how I do it... so in addition to looking at samba, I would recommend looking at the manpages for lpr and lpd... and printcap. Those will have some good information for you to start. Also look at www.freebsd.org in the handbook for printer setup.
