I would be interested to see a tcpdump such as

tcpdump -i ng0 > file.txt

done on the MPD machine while you're transferring a small file.

You'll probably want to send me this off-list, as it may get big.
I may want to see other dumps as well, but I may also be able to get
them off my own test setup (once it's ready).
