Yes, this was the problem, thank you. Remaining problem with these cards is that audio doesn't work from the tuner. Some probing of the circuit suggests that the plain audio from the tuner is no longer connected to the audio MUX, and that you need to program the stereo decoder to get any sound from the tuner input.
