I have been trying to install FreeBSD on an old 386 I had lying around, and each time that I try to install from the boot.flp it gives me an error just after I select proceed. It starts writing the file systems, then dies after a moment. it gave me the error message Fatal Exec (/stand/newfs) failed, code=9216 on the <alt-F2> screen it says wtfs: Input/Output error after this is reboots Thanks for any help that you can give me my email address is ahlstn1@medtronic.com or nrahlstr@gloria.cord.edu Nathan Ahlstrom
