You also need to add a default route of that IP to localhost. route add -host xxx.xxx.xxx.132 127.0.0.1 should do the trick. Here's sample on how we do it: echo -n 'starting ftp spoofs:' echo -n 'ftp.gigo.com ' /sbin/ifconfig de0 inet 165.90.138.208 alias 255.255.255.0 /sbin/route add 165.90.138.208 127.0.0.1
