In packages-2.1, there's

  ghostscript-2.6.2.tgz 2182 Kb    Mon Oct  9 04:36:00 1995 
  ghostscript-3.51.tgz  3621 Kb    Wed Nov 15 09:59:00 1995 
  ghostview-1.5.tgz       50 Kb    Mon Oct  9 04:43:00 1995 

The ghostview-1.5.tgz requires ghostscript-2.6.2, but it looks
like ghostscript-3.51 is newer (and it supports Adobe .pdf files).

Will the newer ghostscript work for ghostview? If so, how can
I hack the dependency in ghostview-1.5?
