That is somewhat different to what you've asked about previously. You don't say if you're running the base system version of BIND or one from ports. In the former case, you can do: /etc/rc.d/named restart In the latter case, that command should still work, but may not depending on how it was all set up. (The bind94 port doesn't come with its own rc script -- I believe the expectation is that you should use the system script by setting variables in /etc/rc.conf appropriately) In either case you should be able to do: rndc reload so long as you've properly set up /etc/namedb/rndc.conf or /etc/namedb/rndc.key Cheers, Matthew - -- Dr Matthew J Seaman MA, D.Phil.
