https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D250999 Bug ID: 250999 Summary: 12.2-RELEASE DVD does not boot on Thinkpad R400, R500 Product: Base System Version: 12.2-RELEASE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: misc Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: sega01@go-beyond.org I can boot 12.2-RELEASE AMD64 via USB just fine, but if I burn it to a DVD I cannot boot it successfully on a Thinkpad R400 or R500. I get this error: ERROR: cannot open /boot/lua/loader.lua: no such file or directory The exact same DVD works fine on a Dell T5400 desktop, however. My 12.1-REL= EASE DVDs boot just fine on the Thinkpad R400 and R500.
