>Description:
math/umfpack is unmaintained, and is an outdated subset of math/suitesparse (which provides much more functionality, is not much larger or much more costly to build and install, and is maintained). Only one port, math/freemat, uses umfpack, and then only as an alternative to suitesparse. So it seems safe and desirable to remove umfpack.
