https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D246477 Bug ID: 246477 Summary: "When laptop lid closed: Sleep" in KDE results in suspend on AC power state change Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: cperciva@FreeBSD.org When I set "When laptop lid closed: Sleep" in KDE on my Dell Latitude 7390, plugging or unplugging the AC power also triggers Suspend to S3. Unsetting that option stops the undesired Suspending. Setting hw.acpi.lid_switch_state=3DS3 makes the lid switch trigger S3 but d= oes not trigger this issue, so the problem does not seem to be caused by an err= ant ACPI Lid Switch message. I managed to debug this as far as determining that the suspend request is coming via ConsoleKit but I don't know how to debug it beyond that point. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
