Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG A local company (velocom argentina) is offering Wireless internet access based on Lucent WaveAccess 3500. Of course, it "only works with windows 9x/NT". You connect to the modem using an ethernet card, but it does not using seem to be using PPPoE. tcpdump shows ethertypes 8867 and 8866 So the questions are: Does anyone know if those things work with FreeBSD? What protocols are those (8867 and 8866) Thanks Fer To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
