Look at /etc/crontab. Are the 'periodic' entries still there? Are all
of the correct files in /etc/periodic?

Is cron still running? 'ps aux | grep cron'

Has the mail been sent but something is messing up? Check for entries
in /var/log/maillog at the appropriate times.
