(The color clock is marginal/unstable.) (The 50/60Hz issue has points to argue as well. Relative efficiencies and the like.) I notice how quickly the color information deteriorates on VHS (NTSC). But then again I have no love for DVD video or CD audio either. I think both were overly large compromises. (Reaches for a fire extinguisher.)
