I have used -c kernel during boot time, and pnp 1 0 enable os irq0 3 drq0 0 port0 0x2e8 to set my modem to COM4. pnpinfo shows that all is well, but when I try to use stty or comcontrol I get a "Device not configured", and a "Device not configured" followed by "/dev/cuaa3 line in use" by cu. Where the heck do I configure the damned modem? Nothing is done by adding an entry to /etc/remote. I have checked and re-created /dev/cuaa3 and /dev/ttyd3 with sh MAKEDEV. BTW, I am using FreeBSD-GENERIC 3.4. Signed, Alexandros Andreou < alandreou@yahoo.com > __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo!
