Far from an expert on BootEasy, but I believe that by depressing F2 you are
trying to boot from the second partition on the first drive (NTFS) rather
than the second drive.  Try (as I recall) F5 to shift BootEasy to looking
at the second drive...

Other messier options include switching the boot using BIOS, or modifying a
boot floppy to have a default of 0:wd(1,a)kernel (c.f. 'man boot_i386')

4GB NTFS partition (NT 4.0 SP4)             <=== F2 . . . ??
(NT booter lets me boot to dos or WinNT)

slave:                                      <=== F5 . . . disk 2
    63 sectors for MBR (for compatibility reasons)
4.3GB FreeBSD slices , with standard ,normal sizes.
            (with FreeBSD 3.0 installed)
