DDD, without a doubt.
Being able to graphically display data structures, follow "next"
pointers, etc. is a godsend.
Seriously, check out the DDD website:
http://www.cs.tu-bs.de/softech/ddd/
If you're in a rush, check out the screen dumps. DDD is an excellent
front-end for gdb.
