Peterson) Subject: BSD/OS v2.0 File System & FreeBSD Compatibility Sender: questions-owner@freebsd.org Precedence: bulk FreeBSD ?: Our main server is currently running BSD/OS v2.0 (BSDI), and we have a 4GIG Seagate SCSI Drive on it, acting as our news drive. We're planning on getting another server (P90/2GIG SCSI/32DRAM), run FreeBSD on it, and move the 4GIG Hawk over to it. My question is: "Will FreeBSD be able to read the BSD/OS file system (UFS), or are we going to have to repartition the drive for FreeBSD?" Thanks in Advance, Matt Peterson --- Matthew R.
