Hi, I have the Walnut Creek CD for 3.2-Release that I bought in June but only know have been able to install. When I try and load files from the CD I start to get the message that install was unable to retrieve the files from CD. I evenutally got the install done by copying the files to a dos parition, When I try and install packages using /stand/sysinstall, I get a a long list of time errors and other such warnings flash down the screen as the program starts. I can get it start transferring before it locks up the system. One symptons is the transfer rate slows down dramatically. Do I have a fault CD (which I have cleaned) or it is something else? My CD-ROM is a NEC 16x (a 464 I think) of a Tekram UltraWide Controller which also runs a Seagate 9.1GB drive and a Seagate 4/8GB tape drive. Thankx.
