Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG hello, I have a question, Let me set up the info: machine A: FreeBSD 2.2.5 Cyrix p200+ 128 Meg of EDO 4Gig bigfoot HD machine B: FreeBSD 2.2.6 AMD 233MMX with a extra 6" fan for cooling 64 Meg of SDRAM 5.2 Gig Ultra-DMA HD machine C: FreeBSD 3.0 AMD 233MMX with a extra 6" fan for cooling 128 Meg of SDRAM 5.2 Gig Ultra-DMA HD Here is the question, I have a program (a MUD) that I ran on all 3 machines, all 3 machines show's it using about the same Mem. Machine A the cpu usage would drop down to 0% but machine B and C would not go below 1%. What was changed between version 2.2.5 and 2.2.6 that would cause this, and what could I do to fix it( other then run 2.2.5 on ALL my servers?
